The eve
I never really have fun on NYE. I get dressed, go out, usually on the arm of whatever guy I’m seeing and we “have a good time.” The thing is I’m not where I want to be at the time, or there is always something particular that is just really off about the whole thing. I guess you could say that about any holiday/birthday. Now there is this avoidance impulse that comes around...

Holiday Hustle
Holiday time is busybusybusy. The break has been so full of random twists. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so this blog is worth quite a bit. :)
baby, it's cold outside
Brrrr….chilly. Filiz and I had a fantastic day. I woke up early and called work to find out when i had to go in, but then realized that I had the day off!!! Then Filiz and I did some yoga. Shortly after we booked it up to Austin for a fun day of last minute christmas shopping (for Filiz) and book buying and reading (for me). Good food was ingested, overall a very pleasant day.
